New vegetable Pepton Broth for Media Fills
Media fills are performed as a validation of aseptic production processes. The operational steps are performed using a microbiological growth medium instead of the product. The sealed containers with medium are investigated for sterility at the end of the production process.
Usually sterilised, dehydrated media or ready prepared liquid media are used for media fills. The most often used medium is TSB (soybean casein digest medium).
TSB contains peptones from animal origin. In order to avoid any risk of contamination with TSE/BSE, the use of microbiological growth media based on vegetable raw materials are advantageous. heipha offers a vegetable peptone broth, which does contain peptones from non-animal origin only.
This broth medium is available as article number 404 10l b in 10 liter bags or 404 100lb and 404 200lb in 200 liter bags.
