Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) is a universal complex medium for cultivation and isolation of yeast and molds.  

The formulation is prepared according to the recommendations of the EP and USP for microbiological examination of non-sterile products. It is suitable for the determination of TYMC (total yeast and mould count) as well as the absence test for Candida albicans.

Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is also available as LI-me­dium with 50 mg/l chloramphenicol (Ref. No. 03350e).

Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA, Casein Soya Bean Digest Agar) is a complex medium for cultivation and isolation of fastidious bacteria, yeast and molds. The medium can be incubated under aerobic or anaerobic conditions.
